CAN LOVE BE ERASED
Eric and Cate live and work on Mars and must fulfil their contract to the all-powerful Erasure Institute. The Erasure Institute has mastered the technology of "erasing", which removes emotional pain and trauma. Eric begins to suspect that the Institute’s work may have a darker side. At the same time, Cate is haunted by inexplicable and disturbing memories. Cate decides that voluntary erasure might be her only way out.

Can love be erased?
Gabriela Loza (she/her) is a Mexican-American award winning filmmaker originally from Southern California.
Her directorial debut, short film ‘Erased’ has screened at multiple international film festivals, winning 14 awards and 10 nominations. She began her filmmaking journey in Hollywood, Ca. as a set painter/carpenter and prop fabricator, production designer eventually moving into directing, writing and producing.
Gabriela, originally from Los Angeles, has lived down under for the last 14 years where she graduated from International Film School Sydney. As a queer woman of colour, Gabriela is interested in using her filmmaking to discover unheard stories and amplify Indigenous voices.
Gabriela is currently working on a short documentary about the Yarning Dome event happening at the Performance Arcade - in Wellington, New Zealand.
Gabriela is also in post production finishing her second short film , ‘Tattooed”. That she wrote and directed .
